i've listened to vocaloid for 13 years or more? right in the golden ages o(*￣▽￣*)o i think my first exposure was something on the news, showing some dudes dancing to a hatsune miku cover of a backstreet boys song ? ?
it didn't take long to take a deep dive into it all. i was obsessed sooo quick.. like it was problematic at first O_O. but i found a new love for horror/dark songs, and i'm sure i listened to "i just hate people" by pinnochio-p on the bus to jr. high everyday.. there were a lot of things i couldn't talk about to anyone and the only way they could feel real is through lyrics from vocaloid songs. i had a song for everything i was going through and i legit would have been even more miserable without this blue hair weirdo♥. my dark ages were filled with more pinnochio-p, nashimoto-p, utsu-p and the like =w= though our ringtone from this time was world is mine..
ohh man! then once time passed and we entered our MMORPG phase i think we exclusively gamed to vocaloid mixes..
nowadays i listen to the depressing songs still but also everything else there is. i dont know if i could list every producer i listen to since there's so many.. but just one that is coming to mind is nyatualien!! though our allegiance to miku is forever, dont tell anyone that i actually like flowers vocals more.
